An Eight-Week Christian Small Group Study for Single Women
Hey friend, you don’t have to navigate this season alone.
Single and Fulfilled and its companion workbook offer a starting point for honest conversations about singleness, faith, identity, and finding joy in the present. Gather women in your church, invite a few friends, or start a book group where you can learn, reflect, and pray together.

Who Is This Study For?
This study is for single Christian women who want to strengthen their identity in Christ, work through disappointment and comparison, and build meaningful community. It can be used in a church life group, women’s ministry, or a gathering of trusted friends.
You can desire marriage while learning to embrace the life God has given you today. There is room here for hope, honest questions, and growth.
What Will We Talk About?
Each week follows one chapter of the book:
What to do when you’re disappointed.
What to do when you’ve never been asked out on a date.
What to do when there isn’t anyone on the horizon.
What to do when you haven’t found your community.
What to do if you’ve been waiting a really long time.
What to do when it’s happening for the people around you but not you.
What to do when people keep offering encouragement that only makes you feel worse.
What to do when you’ve done everything they told you to do.
How Does the Group Work?
Plan to meet weekly for eight weeks. Before each gathering, read the corresponding chapter in Single and Fulfilled and spend time with that week’s workbook pages.
The workbook’s Gather pages provide an opening question, discussion prompts, and space for prayer requests. Its suggested 60-minute meeting rhythm is:
Welcome and check-in: 10 minutes.
Opening question: 10 minutes.
Discussion: 25 minutes.
Prayer for one another: 15 minutes.
If your group has 90 minutes, allow more time for conversation, reflection, and prayer. Leaders can choose the questions that fit their group without requiring everyone to share every answer.
What Does Each Person Need?
Each participant should have the Single and Fulfilled book and a companion workbook. The book provides the teaching and stories; the workbook provides space to reflect, apply what you are learning, and bring it to God in prayer.
Choose the print workbook or explore the digital workbook. Each participant should obtain their own copy.
A Gentle Starting Point for Leaders
Create a space where women can speak honestly and be treated with care. The workbook suggests keeping personal stories confidential, listening to understand, speaking from your own experience, celebrating one another, allowing anyone to pass, and praying for each other between meetings.
You don’t need to have every answer. Start with the chapter, use the Gather page, and make room for women to encourage one another and encounter God’s truth together.
Questions Before You Begin?
Can I use this with a friend instead of a group?
Yes. Read the same chapter, complete your pages separately, and meet to talk through what stood out.
Can I work through it on my own?
Yes. Read a chapter and use the workbook at your own pace. The eight-week structure is a guide for groups; personal reflection does not need to follow a deadline.
Does the workbook replace the book?
The workbook is a companion designed to sit beside Single and Fulfilled. Use them together for the teaching, reflection questions, practical applications, and group conversations.
How can our church ask about using the study?
